Whether you’re looking for an active holiday or just a relaxing break you’ve come to the right place.

By Night

In the evenings you can go down to Aberdour where there are several pubs and hotels, some with live music or, if you wish to go further afield, there are plenty of restaurants, cinemas and theatres within easy reach.

Harbour and Golf Club

Sport

Within a few miles you will find sailing, tennis, bowling, ten-pin bowling, gliding, falconry, swimming, water-skiing, fishing (sea, river and loch), walking, motor racing, curling, clay target shooting, archery and many other activity sports.

Aberdour Golf ClubGolf

Did we mention golf? If you’re a golfer you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven! You can stay here a fortnight, play a different course every morning and afternoon and never have to travel more than a few miles.

St Andrews, Lundin Links, Kingsbarns, St Andrews Fairmont are just a few of the top class courses within easy reach and Gleneagles is just an hour away while Aberdour Golf Course with its wonderful views is only a couple of minutes away.

You can always enjoy a round or two at our local course where visitors are always welcome.

More Leisurely Activities

WalkingWalking:

You can enjoy countryside walks from your doorstep and the Fife Coastal Trail passes nearby.

Or you could just enjoy a walk around the farm.

Or go down to the village for a drink or  meal at one of several cafes and pubs in Aberdour.

Too strenuous?

You could just enjoy the large garden at Dalachy and the amazing views across the Firth of Forth - sometimes you can watch the seals basking on the rocks.

Or visit the Silver Sands beach (a Blue Flag beach) and enjoy the sunshine and have a paddle.

Retail therapy?

We’re within easy reach of Edinburgh or Perth. It’s only a 10 minute drive to Inverkeithing where you can take the “park and ride” to Edinburgh for shopping or sight-seeing.
